I had the pleasure of training with many great people in Queensland. After introductions Tony Fletcher gave insight to Koshiki. Ivan McWilliams took the next section on Kemka Silat with defence and use of knives. Everyone loved the viciousness of the knives across the throat. Jason Griffiths jumped in and had everyone going through their paces on the ground and then showed the kata interpretations.... I could see Dave Gooding's eye's light up when he saw how it all came together for his style. Jason was glad to have an old friend in Peter Hills to perform the Koryu Uchinadi applications with. Then the dynamic duo, Suzanne and Don Woods, ripped into demonstrating their Speakmans Kenpo 5.0. I think a few were surprized at the energy they had. I think a few want to try it out on their wives. After the training many of us finished of the day at a local pub. As Peter Hills said, " I have over 10 new friends now" Thanks everyone for a great time and Don and Suzanne for arranging the venue.
